Description
Sal Buscema - Avengers #71 Cover Recreation Original Art (2003). The skies of Paris are filled with battling Golden and Silver Age heroes as Sal Buscema recreates his sensational Avengers vs. Invaders cover from the thriller, "Endgame." That yarn, set during World War II, featured the first appearance of the Invaders. Sal Buscema has signed his recreation at the lower left. A note penciled on the back of the page reads, "First time this cover was recreated," and is signed by Buscema's art representative and friend, Al Czarnecki.
