Description

John Byrne - Fantastic Four, page 11 Original Art (unpublished, circa 1974). In the days when Rich Buckler was drawing the Fantastic Four in his best effort at the Jack Kirby style, John Byrne thought, "Well, if that's what they want, I can give it to them." To prove it, he penciled a thirty page Giant-Size Fantastic Four try-out story. These pages eventually saw print in David Anthony Kraft's Comics Interview #25. This page showcases the scintillating Human Torch, as he flames on, to pursue the Crystal of Counter-Earth. The image size is approximately 10" x 15", and the art is in Excellent condition. A detailed Manhattan cityscape is a highlight of panel three.
