Pokémon Unlimited Base Set Uncut Sheet (Wizards of the Coast, 1999) Rare, Holo. Pokémon was first introduced in Japan during the mid-1990s, and it quickly turned into a global phenomenon! Wizards of the Coast, which was already distributing a highly popular card game known as Magic: The Gathering, was able to get the licensing to distribute the Pokémon Trading Card Game internationally in 1999. The original set, known as the Base Set, included a total of 102 cards, with the first 16 cards being holographic. It included artwork from famed artists like Ken Sugimori and Mitsuhiro Arita, just to name a few. Offered here is an uncut sheet from the Unlimited print run of the Base Set. And did we mention that the sheet features only holographic cards, including Charizard? Well, it does! The sheet includes 7 copies of each of the following cards: #s 1-3, 4 (Charizard), 5-7, and 9-16. The only holographic card missing is #8 Machamp. A total of 110 cards are on the sheet laid out in 11 rows with 10 cards per row. The sheet measures approximately 26.5" x 38.75". It has light wear, with faint scratches and crease marks. There is a piece of white tape down the right side, with some notes written on it in pen. There is also a note at the bottom of the left edge. The overall condition is Excellent.
