Description

Yoshitaka Amano Magic: The Gathering Liliana Vess Unused Illustration Original Artwork (2025). Liliana Vess is a character that appears in the 2019 expansion set War of the Spark for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. The Japanese version of that set featured newly commissioned artworks by Japanese illustrators, including Yoshitaka Amano. Separately from that project, after an exhibition of these pieces, Amano created this independent, original painting of Liliana Vess, inspired by the character but not used or commissioned for any official Wizards of the Coast product. Created edge-to-edge in watercolor over graphite on 8.25" x 11.75" deckled edge art board, this piece has been signed in the lower right corner. It is inside a 16" x 19.5" plexiglas-front frame. The overall condition is Excellent. A COA is included.
