Description

Alayna Danner Magic: The Gathering Plains Illustration Original Artwork (2021). Offered in this lot is the original artwork done for the Magic: The Gathering card Plains. This specific artwork was used in the 89th expansion set, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt. It was done by artist Alayna Danner, who has worked for clients such as Wizards of the Coast, Cryptozoic, Troll Lord Games, and more. Danner's first work for Magic: The Gathering was included in the 2017 set Hour of Devastation, and she has illustrated over 130 cards since. Along with MTG, she has also provided artwork for Dungeons & Dragons books. The haunting artwork offered here was rendered in acrylic on gesso board and measures approximately 18" x 24". Danner's signature can be seen at the bottom right corner. Please note that there is a scratch around the top center of the piece, at the end of one of the branches. The overall condition is Very Good.
