Quinton Hoover Magic: The Gathering Aisling Leprechaun Illustration Original Artwork (1994). One of the original 25 artists for Magic: The Gathering, Quinton Hoover is a staple of the trading card game. He illustrated 76 cards between 1993 and 2008, from the Alpha set to Morningtide. Some of his most iconic pieces include Regeneration, Vesuvan Doppelganger, Meekstone, and Ivory Gargoyle. He even illustrated the card Proposal which MTG creator Richard Garfield used to propose to his girlfriend at the time, whose favorite artist was Hoover. Offered in this lot is a piece of original art by Hoover, done for the card Aisling Leprechaun which was released in the 1994 Legends expansion set. Hoover's signature can be seen at the bottom right corner. This piece measures approximately 7" x 5.5" and has been mounted to a board. It is inside an 11.375" x 9.875" frame.
