Magic: The Gathering Tropical Island Limited Edition (Alpha) CGC Trading Card Game Near Mint 7 (Wizards of the Coast, 1993) Rare. Featured here is a rare card from the Alpha Edition, Tropical Island. The Alpha Edition was the first released set for one of the world's most popular trading card games, Magic: The Gathering. The print run for rare cards in this set was limited to 1,100 copies. This particular card is a dual land, which means it counts as two different lands. Tropical Island counts as both forest and islands. Note that while this card credits Mark Poole for the artwork, this is a misprint! The art was actually done by Jesper Myrfors. CGC has certified 7 copies earning a Near Mint 7 grade with 23 graded higher.Auction Info
