Description
Rad Racer - VGA 85+ NM+ Sealed [Hangtab, Gloss Sticker, Canadian Version], NES Nintendo 1988 CAN. This is our first time offering the Canadian version of Rad Racer, notable for its hangtab packaging with a gloss sticker seal. While the hangtab and sticker seal formats had already been discontinued in the United States by the time of this release, Canada continued using the earlier-style retail presentation. Unlike the U.S. edition, which was distributed by Nintendo, the Canadian release was distributed by Mattel. Only six copies appear on VGA's February census. Developed by Square, Rad Racer quickly became one of the most beloved racing games of the 8-bit era, pushing the visual boundaries of the NES with fast paced action, pseudo 3D graphics, and compatibility with the bundled Nintendo 3D glasses accessory.Auction Info
