Sqoon - CGC 9.6 A+ Sealed [Hangtab], NES Irem 1987 USA. This
is the highest-graded copy of Sqoon we've ever offered-or
seen-whether in person or online, and it's the only sealed example
ever to cross our auction block. Sealed copies of this obscure,
early NES release are virtually unheard of, making it a true grail
for collectors of rare 8-bit titles. Sqoon stood apart from
the pack as an original console title at a time when the NES
library was dominated by arcade ports and adaptations. Its
underwater setting and offbeat title gave it an unusual identity
even in its own era. Originally developed for the Famicom Disk
System, Sqoon reflects Irem's early experimentation with
shooters-a direction that would eventually lead to genre-defining
hits like R-Type. Rarely seen in any condition, and
practically never sealed, this copy marks a true highlight for
