Forbidden Worlds #2 (ACG, 1951) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages. Here's a seldom seen comic that should have some real interest from collectors of ACG books, currently one of the "hot" companies in the field. It's fronted by a colorful cover illustration of an interplanetary fist-fight between a gallant guy defending his lady friend from ghoulish-looking flame men. Cover artist Ogden Whitney practically made a career doing covers for multiple titles from the American Comics Group over the period 1948-1967. Listed as a "scarce" issue in The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books, it definitely tops the current list of CGC-certified copies of this issue. Overstreet 2003 NM 9.4 value = $760.
