Target Comics #2 (Novelty Press, 1940) CGC FN+ 6.5 White pages. The android White Streak, a.k.a. Manowar, uses his "knife-like" eyebeams to slice an enemy bomb on this dramatic cover by a young Bill Everett, under his pseudonym "Blake." This issue features interior art by Carl Burgos, Joe Simon, and Tarpe Mills, with Bill Everett providing some interior artwork as well. This attractive mid-grade copy shows some signs of age and wear, but the bright and colorful cover, and fresh white pages should not fail to please. There is currently only one copy of this issue that has been graded higher by CGC. Overstreet 2003 FN 6.0 value = $744.
