Description

Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree Eeyore Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1966). Here's a terrific image of Christopher Robin's stuffed donkey, Eeyore, from the 1966 animated featurette Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. The featurette was initially released into theatres as a companion film to Disney's live-action comedy The Ugly Dachshund. It was later added as a segment to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. In the film, Eeyore tries to help Rabbit and Christopher Robin remove Pooh from Rabbit's front door. Seems that silly 'ol bear ate too much honey which caused his full tummy to prevent him from exiting the house as easily as he went in! This is a RARE original production cel from the film. Hand-painted on 12 field acetate and placed over a color card for viewing purposes. It's a great full-figure image of 7" x 4", nicely positioned on the cel. Framed to 15.75" x 12.25" with an aperture of 11" x 7.5". Frame sold as-is. The image of Eeyore exhibits paint cracking on his nose. Otherwise, Good condition.
