Description
The Wuzzles "Ghostrustlers" Butterbear, Hoppopotamus, and Moosel Production Cels with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1985). "Looks like this place is having a sale on cobwebs!" The Wuzzles explore a ghost town in this episode, entitled "Ghostrustlers," which was released on November 9, 1985. Here is a great original production cel setup depicting Butterbear, Hoppopotamus, and Moosel, set atop the matching Key Master pan background! This image can be seen at the 7:03 mark of the episode, when the Wuzzles enter a store in the deserted town, surprised to find that nobody seems to be around. The cel of Rhinokey from this scene is not present in this setup. The images of Butterbear, Hoppopotamus, and Moosel measure about 2.5" to 2.75" tall each. The cels are laminated, and the setup has a Walt Disney seal in its lower right corner. The background was painted with gouache on pan background board. The cels and background have been trimmed to a size of 16.25" x 9.5". The setup has been matted, with a mat window of 15" x 8" and an overall mat size of 22" x 14.75". There is a Disney Certificate of Authenticity on the back of the mat. The cels are in Good condition, with some handling and edge wear. The linework on the cels has mostly faded, and a few small sections have been re-inked. There is some minor lamination separation around the characters.
