Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Squeaky Boots" Spongebob and Mr. Krabs Production Cel with Master Background (Nickelodeon, 1999). Here's a nice original hand-painted cel setup from Season 1 of this celebrated series, featuring a two-level cel scene from the eighth episode, "Squeaky Boots." In it, SpongeBob is convinced to give up his paycheck for a pair of rubber fishing boots from Mr. Krabs, who had bought them (at a bargain price) as a gift for Pearl that she ultimately rejected. Here's the happy ending, after the squeak from SpongeBob's boots has driven Mr. Krabs crazy enough to fry and eat the boots. He pays SpongeBob his back pay, plus a bonus (which he promptly takes back), in these two cels; SpongeBob has an approximate figure size of 4", while Mr. Krabs is 4.75" tall. The background is from a separate episode, "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy." Overall setup size is 13" x 10". Very Good condition with minor handling.Auction Info
