Description

The Prince and the Pauper Mickey Mouse and Captain Pete Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1990). "Good day, my phony prince." From Disney's fantastic adaptation of Mark Twain's renowned story, The Prince and the Pauper, we have in this lot a terrific hand-painted production cel featuring Mickey as the disguised Pauper, captured by the villainous Captain Pete. This animated short was Disney's final use of the traditional cel animation process, before switching to digital animation. Numbered PM-85 in the bottom right corner, this 16-field production cel shows Pete holding Mickey, as they appear at the 16:29 mark of the film, with the characters sharing an overall image size of 6.75" x 5", offered on a printed background for presentation purposes. In Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear from production.
