Description
Whiz Comics #25 Incomplete (Fawcett, 1941) Condition: PR. The origin and first appearance of Captain Marvel Jr., and the first instance in comics of a story continuing across more than one title (from Master Comics #21 and then concluding in issue #22). The origin of Shazam is presented in a text story. C. C. Beck cover and art. Mac Raboy art. This copy displays defects such as a large piece cut out of the back cover, a piece cut out of page 15/16 (last two pages of first Captain Marvel story) and 17/18 (Captain Marvel Club ad and first page of Golden Arrow story), Cover detached at top staple, tearing at bottom staple, heavy tanning on inside of the cover, and the staples are rusted with rust migration at the top staple.
