Description
Hair Raising Hare Bugs Bunny and Gossamer Monster Limited Edition Cel #AP6/50 (Warner Brothers, 1989). "Monsters lead such interesting lives!" This is an outstanding hand-painted, limited edition cel, created from an original Chuck Jones drawing of Bugs Bunny, with Gossamer Monster. Bugs is 7" tall and Gossamer is 8". The short Hare Raising Hare, released on 5/25/46, was Gossamer's first appearance and the short was originally directed by Chuck Jones. This cel is an artist's proof #6/50. This edition of 500 pieces was an almost immediate sell out, 30 years ago! Hand-signed by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002), it has a Linda Jones seal on the bottom left of the cel and comes with a COA. Framed to 21.5" x 19" with a matboard aperture of 11.5" x 10". Frame sold as-is. Cel is in Fine condition.Auction Info
