Description
The Dognapper Mickey Mouse and Long-Billed Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). Mickey and a long-billed Donald take on the role of police officers hunting the infamous Peg Leg Pete in this early David Hand-directed short! Pete has taken Minnie's pup Fifi and officers Mickey and Donald are off to the rescue in this detailed full figure animation drawing! The chase will take them over a bridge, and through dangerous sawmill, but they're not going to let Pete get away without a fight! The two are seated on their motorcycle, rendered in graphite, and you can find them at about 1:20 as they race after the villainous dognapper. Perfectly centered, the characters measure about 4.5'' x 3.5'' with great expressions, determined to get their man. The drawing is noted 187 in the lower right and is a great way to remember Mickey and Donald's first epic adventure together, especially if you're looking for an early long-billed Donald Duck. Very Good condition for this classic duo with light edge and handling wear and faint age-related toning.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
