Description

Alice in Wonderland Alice Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1951). "If you stay long enough, we might have a battle." "That's very kind of you, but I must be going." Alice is only trying to find the White Rabbit, but Wonderland stops her at every turn - this time with Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Rendered masterfully in graphite with color pencil, this 16 field 3-peghole animation drawing depicts the film's protagonist in full figure, created for the moment seen at the 14:25 mark of the film. Alice's incredible animation was directed by the lauded Eric Larson, with additional animation by Milt Kahl, Ollie Johnston, Marc Davis, Les Clark, Don Lusk, and Harvey Toombs. Alice measures about 6'' tall on the page and is marked 23 in the lower right. The dialogue note "kind" is written in the upper right. Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear and faint age-related toning. Small fold in lower right corner.
