Devil's Bayou, the setting of the beloved animated adventure film The Rescuers, is featured here in this excellent original concept/Color Key painting. Signed by concept/background artist James Coleman on the back, this rare piece is a beautiful showcase of washy watercolors on 8" x 6" watercolor paper mounted to a black 9.5" x 7.75" board. This technique gives the environment its distinct damp look and feel, essential for the grim and ghostly mood of the swampy setting.
