Description

DuckTales Scrooge McDuck Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, c. 1987). The Richest Duck in the World, Uncle Scrooge McDuck, was the creation of writer/artist Carl Barks in the 1947 comic book story "Christmas on Bear Mountain" (in Four Color #178). Here's Scrooge as a television star, in an original hand-painted production cel from the animated series inspired by the Uncle Scrooge comic book stories by Barks. This close-up of Scrooge with his top hat has an approximate image size of 5" x 7". The cel has been placed on a color photoprint of Scrooge's Money Bin and matted with an opening of 9.75" x 7.75". With the cel is the matching 10 field animation drawing with a graphite image. The cel is in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling wear; the drawing has a tiny bit of red from contact with the cel and minor creasing in the upper right corner, and is in Good to Very Good condition with some handling and edge wear.
