Robot Carnival "Chicken Man and Red Neck" Production Cel Setup (A.P.P.P., 1987). A jaw-dropping 7-cel setup, here is an astonishing hand-painted original production cel setup from the "Chicken Man and Red Neck" segment of Robot Carnival, directed by Takashi Nakamura. Reminiscent of the "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence of Fantasia, "Chicken Man and Red Neck" tells the story of a drunken man who witnesses Tokyo as it is overrun by robotic monstrosities. Seen at the 1:22:42 mark of the film, this incredible piece features a painted image area that nearly fills the 12" x 10" cels. The setup is accompanied by a Robot Carnival Certificate of Authenticity. The piece shows minor handling and edge wear with some stapling near the top edge. Some light tearing at one of the staples, and the condition overall is Very Good.
