This original hand-painted 16-field production cel from Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983) features Jiminy Cricket as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Paired with a background cel showing the original linework used for the film's setting, the setup beautifully echoes the featurette's conceit-Disney favorites reenacting Dickens's classic. As the first spirit to visit Scrooge, Jiminy's small stature belies his authority: with pointed warmth, he reminds Scrooge that kindness, not size, measures a person, then guides him through memories of Fezziwig's party, young love with Isabelle, and the moment greed eclipsed his heart. The cel bears a Disney seal, was laminated at the studio, and is handsomely matted to 19" x 16" for display.
