Description

Mary Blair - The Little House Concept/Color Key Print (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). The Little House spends a snowy holiday season between two large apartment buildings in this fantastic high-quality print created from an original concept/color key painting by Mary Blair (1911 - 1978). The Little House was directed by Wilfred Jackson and released to theaters on 8/8/1952, owing all of its whimsical visual style to Mary Blair's bright colors, playful shapes, and charming compositions. The Walt Disney Studio printed this rare treasure as a gift for Disney Renaissance director Mike Gabriel (The Rescuers Down Under, Pocahontas). A rare large depiction of Mary Blair's typically small work, this piece is framed under Plexiglas with a mat window size of 23.5" x 19" and an overall frame size of 31" x 26.5". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Well preserved in the frame, the print is in Fine condition.
From the Disney Feature Animation Director Mike Gabriel Collection.
