"Pinocchio" First Edition Out-of-Print Coffee Table Book by Pierre Lambert with 8 Autographs of Disney Artists (Hyperion, 1995-97). Here's a rare first (and only) English-language edition deluxe coffee table book by Pierre Lambert. The book covers the making of the film, including behind-the-scenes stories; the full-color illustrations reproduce animation drawings, cels, backgrounds, concept and story art all reproduced directly from the originals. The book features the signatures of eight (8) Disney artists who contributed to the making of the classic film. The 235-page book measures 13" x 13.5" and comes with the original dust cover. The book is hand-signed on the title page by three of "Walt's Nine Old Men"; Ollie Johnston, Ward Kimball, and Frank Thomas. It is also signed by Disney greats art directors Ken O'Connor and Thor Putnam, head of the Character Model Department Joe Grant, animators Don Lusk and Bernie Wolf. The book is in Fine condition and comes with a Howard Lowery certificate of authenticity to verify the legitimacy of the signatures.Auction Info
