Description
Son of Pink Panther VHS Box Original Cel Art (MGM/UA, 1993/94). This is the original artwork for the VHS tape box for Blake Edwards' Son of Pink Panther. In the film; Police Commissioner Charles Dreyfus encounters Jacques Gambrelli, who reminds him painfully of Inspector Clouseau, the man who drove him insane. With good reason: Gambrelli is Clouseau's son. This artwork was for the 1994 screening cassette. A screening cassette is an early release VHS tape distributed to video stores so they can decide if they want to stock the movie, and sent to movie reviewers and voting members of the Academy of Motion Pictures. This gorgeous cel art consists of a hand-inked, hand-painted over-size cel of 15" x 19". The cel is taped to a 15" x 20" illustration board with a protective overlay cel. Along with the cel are two copies of the VHS tape box depicting the finished artwork. Light edge wear from production use. Overall, condition is Very Good.From the Darrell Van Citters Collection.
