Description
Jonny Quest Illustration (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1980s). Used for a variety of Jonny Quest promotional and consumer products including a press release photo, VHS tape cover, and a tape cassette videogame for the Commodore 64, this is a spectacular and action-packed original preliminary illustration rendered in graphite on vertically aligned 16 field animation paper. This iconic image was also used for a licensed T-shirt in the early 2000s. Exceptionally rare, this marvelous and dynamic image of Hadji, Jonny Quest, and Race Bannon measures an enormous 13.25" x 14". The sheet shows minor handling and edge wear with light wrinkling throughout, and the back shows surface scuffing causing the paper to show some transparency on the right side of the image. A rare piece and a great image of the beloved classic characters, the condition overall is Good.Auction Info
