Jumanji: The Animated Series Judy Shepherd, Peter Shepherd, and Alan Parrish Production Cel Signed by Bob Hathcock (Adelaide Productions, c. 1996-99). Jumanji: The Animated Series was a TV series inspired by the 1995 film Jumanji which ran for three seasons, from 1996 to 1999. The series features Judy and Peter Shepherd, two kids who are pulled into the board game Jumanji. The two discover Alan Parrish, a man who became trapped in the game in his youth and was unable to escape. The events of the show follow the three as they work to escape the game and to help others inside it escape as well. This original, hand-painted production cel features full-figure images of Judy, Peter, and Alan as they run through the jungle. The image of Judy measures about 3.5" tall, Alan measures about 4" tall, and Peter measures about 2.5" tall. The cel is numbered in its lower right corner with A20, and it is set atop a color photographic print. The cel is dedicated and signed by Bob Hathcock, the producer of the show and also director on several episodes, who also produced titles including DuckTales, The Jetsons, and The Smurfs. The piece is matted, with a matboard aperture of 12" x 8" and an overall mat size of 18" x 14". The piece is in Good condition, with handling and edge wear, as well as some staining on the image.Auction Info
