Description

A Pizza Tweety-Pie Sylvester and Tweety Storyboard Drawings Group of 2 (Warner Brothers, 1958). Mama Mia! An Italian version of Sylvester spots a vacationing Tweety, resting in Granny's hotel room balcony, in this rare group of two original storyboard drawings. Friz Freleng directed the short, written by Warren Foster and released to theaters on 2/22/1958. In the first storyboard drawing, Sylvester excitedly speaks in broken English ala Italiano when he sees Tweety; this closely matches the film at the 1:43 timestamp. The storyboard with Tweety saying "Well - now I've seen everything!" This gag was cut, as Tweety says only a few lines, and never utters this phrase. The art is in graphite with red and yellow penciling on 7" x 5.75" paper with a ruled box measuring 5.25" x 3.75". The art is in Very Good condition with minor handling, edge wear, and tack holes.
