Description
Wreck-it Ralph Fix-it-Felix, Sour Bill, King Candy, and Ralph Character Development/Concept Art Group of 6 (Walt Disney, 2012). From Disney's 2012 animated movie Wreck-It Ralph, we have in this lot six rare character development/concept art pieces created by Mike Gabriel, who served as art director on the film. Offering us an exclusive peek at the early stages of production for the hilarious and heart-warming movie, these six drawings feature King Candy with notes of possible early names (Count Von Calorie and King Crumb), a great image of the grouchy Sour Bill, a picture of Fix-it-Felix, two exceptional images of earlier versions of Ralph with one of them displaying notes about the character's look, and a fabulous image of our protagonist more akin to his final design. The drawings are rendered in marker, with the illustration of Sour Bill and one of Ralph's earlier designs featuring acrylic paint. The drawing of Ralph's earlier design is done on a 16-field animation sheet, with the rest of the illustrations done on 17" x 11" paper. With light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.From the Disney Feature Animation Director Mike Gabriel Collection.
