Description
SpongeBob SquarePants Patrick Star Production Cel and Master Background (Nickelodeon, 1999). When SpongeBob can't seem to pass his "driving test," his pal Patrick offers to help by way of walkie-talkie, in the Season 1 Episode 4 short, "Boating School." Here's an original hand-painted 12 field production cel of Patrick Star, who now has his own hit series on Nickelodeon. The somewhat dim Star (pun intended) casts a large image in this cel, with an approximate overall size of 7" x 6.75". Patrick's rock home (he lives under it) is seen behind him in an original hand-painted/airbrushed Master production background from the Season 1 episode "Tea at the Treedome." Only the first season episodes of this series were animated on cels in the traditional method; all subsequent seasons were done digitally. The bottom peghole strip on the background has been cut and repositioned with tape. Condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.Auction Info
