Description
SpongeBob SquarePants SpongeBob and Friends Production Cel Setup with Master Background (Nickelodeon, 1999). A day at the (underwater) beach is anything but carefree for SpongeBob, as he tries in vain to impress Sandy, in the Season One Episode 2 short "Ripped Pants." Here's a great original hand-painted 12 field 3-cel production setup from that short, as a submerged whale comes up from the sandy beach, lifting our pants-less pal up with him. You can find it at the 7:33 mark in online viewing. The Master production background is seen at the 6:52 mark, but it works perfectly here. Don't forget that only Season One episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants were animated traditionally by hand on cel! A Nickelodeon seal is on the top cel. Condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.Auction Info
