Dragon Ball Z "Awakening" Cell Junior Production Cel with Production Background (Toei Animation, c. 1989-96). "Do it, Gohan!" Attempting to dispatch the Super Saiyan in a fit of rage, Cell Junior powers up and launches a series energy attacks in this original production cel from the Dragon Ball Z episode "Awakening". Krillin has urged Gohan to attack Cell Junior while there's an opening even if it means he gets caught in the crossfire. The Junior villain responds with a barrage of blasts aimed at Gohan's back seen around the 12:19 mark of the episode. The hand-painted 12 field cel features the pint-sized bad guy full-figured and measuring 4.75" x 5.25". The cel is presented on a production background and both are still factory-sealed in an official Toei Animation windowed envelope making this a particularly rare offering. The lot shows light handling wear from production including minor fading to the Xeroxed linework and some surface scuffing; the envelope shows minor edge wear. Overall, Good to Very Good condition.
