The Black Cauldron Taran, the Horned King, and Gurgi VIP Premier Limited Edition Cel (Walt Disney, 1985). Taran and Gurgi are in a tough spot now that they're forced to fight the Horned King. Ever brave and compassionate, Taran raises his magical sword to defend his friend in the hard-to-find VIP premier limited edition cel in this lot! The film remains one of the darkest Disney films as the story followed Taran, Eilonwy, Fflewddur, and Gurgi on their way to rescue Taran's pig Hen Wen and stop the Horned King from using the power of the Black Cauldron. On an impressive 18'' x 10'' cel and displayed on a print background from the film for presentation purposes, the limited edition showcases the dramatic was never made available to the public and was created in low numbers with no more than 50 ever created. These cels were given away at the film's premier as well as hand-delivered to movie critics to spark excitement for The Black Cauldron. The scene doesn't appear in the film and is unique to this edition, a new look at the cult-classic characters after the movie was released over 35 years ago. The Horned King, Taran, and Gurgi are about 10.5'' x 8.5'' combined and all full figure. They are presented in a 23'' x 16.25'' folder complete with The Black Cauldron logo.
