My Neighbor Totoro Mei, Satsuki and Catbus Production Cel Key Master Setup (Studio Ghibli, 1988). "Oh! You're okay." "I'm sorry." "Were you trying to take your corn to Mom at the hospital?" "Mmm-hmm." Satsuki finally finds her missing sister Mei with the help of the iconic Catbus from Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro. This is an unforgettable moment from the climactic scenes of the film, presented in hand-painted original production cels in a complete Key Master setup. The enormous Catbus nearly fills the entirety of the 14" x 9" setup, and the two cels are numbered C61 and A37 in the upper right corner. This moment can be seen at approximately the 1:21:42 mark of the film. As heartwarming as it is tear-jerking, this piece is a must-have for fans of the defining Studio Ghibli masterpiece. The cels show minor handling and edge wear from normal production use with the Catbus showing some fading on the linework. This piece can be seen on page 100 of the German Film Institute's gallery exhibition book Ga-Netchu! The Manga Anime Syndrome. The condition is Very Good.
