Description
Superman: The Animated Series "Knight Time" Superman as Batman with Robin Production Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Warner Brothers, 1998). With Bruce Wayne nowhere to be found, Robin has a hard time keeping Gotham safe; fortunately, the Man of Steel can be of assistance in difficult times like this. Robin asks Superman, dressed as Batman, how he manages to replicate Bruce's voice so perfectly, to which the Kryptonian responds, "Precise muscle control, plus I have a pretty good ear," at the 7:00 mark of the cross-over Episode "Knight Time" from Superman: The Animated Series. The Boy Wonder measures 5.5" tall next to a 7.25" Batman, or rather Superman in disguise, on the 12 field sized production cel setup, featured on the Key Master Background seen during the shot, numbered B31 in the top right corner, and measuring 13" x 8.75" rendered in gouache on background board. The setup layers have adhered together, and the Key Master background shows some light crumpling on the corners and light tape wear. Overall, the lot shows very light handling and edge wear from production, and is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
