Description
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles "Teenagers from Dimension X" Full Team and Neutrinos Production Cels with "The Case of the Killer Pizzas" Master Background (Murakami-Wolf-Swenson, 1988). The Neutrinos make their appearance alongside all four Ninja Turtles in this impressive production cel setup from the second season of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. A race of aliens from Dimension X, the Neutrinos were created specifically for the TV series, and this episode was only their second appearance. This two-cel setup comes from about the 12:52 mark of the episode "Teenagers from Dimension X," and it depicts all four Turtles, Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Donatello, alongside the three Neutrinos. All seven characters are featured in full-figure images, and the two 12 field cels have a combined image area of about 9.75" x 4.25"! The cels are numbered in their lower right corners with K28 and TS10. The cels are displayed atop a hand-painted original Master background from the episode "The Case of the Killer Pizzas," which can be seen at about the 13:07 mark of this episode. The background is rendered with gouache and watercolor on 15" x 10.25" background board. The top cel bears a seal from Murakami-Wolf-Swenson in its lower right corner. This great piece of Turtles art is in Good to Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear.
