Description
The Whoopee Party Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1932). A paddy wagon filled with police officers arrives at the Whoopee Party, but not to stop it - they want to party too! Here's a rare sequence of four original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings from the ending scene of this Burt Gillett and Wilfred Jackson- as Mickey and Minnie, whose dance on the table caused it to crash, emerge from the rubble wearing tall police helmets. The first drawing is marked 15 and appears in the film at about the 6:37 timestamp; Mickey measures approximately 2" x 2.75" and Minnie at 2.25" x 2.25". Next is drawing #30 as the pair remove their helmets and move in closer, seen at 6:39 (as are the last two drawings); the combined image area is 6" x 2.5". Drawing #31 brings the two a bit closer as Mickey puckers up, and final drawing, #34, has them smiling with a combined image size of 5.25" x 3.25". This last page has a tiny chip out of the lower right edge; otherwise, the art is in Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear plus mild age-related paper toning and a minor corner tear on drawing 31.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
