Description

Heroic tough guy Mike Nomad attends a ghostly seance that looks suspiciously like a scam. Nomad throws his weight into a brutal fistfight. And Roper finds a runaway child. All in a few months' work for master storytellers Overgard and Allen Saunders (dialogue), who spent years shaping Steve Roper into the comics' equivalent of a classical hard-boiled detective movie, in a league with Dick Tracy and Kerry Drake. The dates are 7-6-65, 10-13-65, 10-14-65, 10-15-65, 2-8-66, 2-9-66, and 2-15-66. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 18.5" x 5.75". Lightly toned, with minor handling wear. Average Very Good condition.
