Description

Superman #2 (DC, 1939) CGC GD+ 2.5 Cream to off-white pages. Joe Shuster and Paul Cassidy cover and art. Jerry Siegel story. Contains a full-page ad for the 1939 New York's World Fair edition. Currently tied for the #40 book on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. CGC notes, "Front cover re-attached with tape. Minor color touch and dried glue on 22nd page. Piece out of 22nd page, slightly affects story." Overstreet 2019 GD 2.0 value = $3,125. CGC census 9/19: 5 in 2.5, 86 higher. Auctioned on Behalf of Tadano America Corporation.
