Fred Schrier Playboy "Meaty Myths - Room for a Screw" Comic Strip Original Art (HMH, undated).Fred Schrier was one of the original Underground Comix artists, working in tandem with the late Dave Sheridan to create the classic Mother's Oats Comix in 1969. By the 1980s, Fred was a regular contributor to Playboy Magazine, and his "Meaty Myths" strip was featured in the "Playboy Funnies" section. Here's one of Fred's originals, in which the young lady pictured has a valid point. The art is in ink and watercolor with airbrushed highlights on illustration board measuring 22" x 10". Image size is approximately 18.5" x 7.5". Excellent condition.
