Description

Giorgio Comolo Amazing Spider-Man #121 Cover Re-Interpretation Illustration Original Art (c. 2000s). Giorgio Comolo turns in an brilliant interpretation of the cover for Issue #121 that gets to the butt of the problem with the original cover by John Romita Sr. Don't get us wrong, the Romita cover is one you can really get behind, but, Spider-Man is facing away from the viewer! Comolo turns it around so you can see Spidey in all his angsty web-slinging glory. A great piece rendered in ink over graphite on two pieces of paper taped together on the reverse side. It has an image area of 11.5" x 16.5". Light creases to the side edges, a tape pull at the upper left edge. The Comic Code logo is a paste-up. Signed in the lower right margin. In Excellent condition.
