Description
Beavis and Butt-Head "Tainted Meat" and "Closing Time" Beavis, Butt-Head, and Health Inspector Production Cel Group of 3 (MTV, 1993/94). "My thingie itches, it's like, the wrong color or something." Violating health code in the grandest fashion, Burger World's two worse employees are featured here in a rare sequence of 2 multilayer cels from the Season Five episode "Tainted Meat" (December 29, 1994) as well as an additional multilayer cel from Season Three episode "Closing Time" (December 23, 1993) which also features a health inspector, all from MTV's Beavis and Butt-Head. Needing very little introduction, Beavis and Butt-Head launched the career of Mike Judge, who went on to create such acclaimed comedy hits as King of the Hill, Office Space, and Silicon Valley. Beavis and Butt-Head was recently revived for a second time with new seasons streaming on Paramount+ in 2022. Dressed in their work uniforms, the dimwitted duo can be spotted near the 2:30 mark of "Tainted Meat", and near the 5:01 mark of "Closing Time" as the offer deep fried earthworms to the health inspector. Across all cels in this lot the hand-painted characters range in size from 1.25" x 3.75" to 4.25" x 5.75". Each of the 12 field cels has been setup with a print background for display purposes and production codes can be found along the lower edge of each layer. An MTV seal can be found on the right side of each cel, and a Certificate of Authenticity is included. With typical studio handling and wear including slight fading to some of the linework, this lot is in Very Good condition.More information about Beavis and Butt-Head.
