The Simpsons "The Director's Edition III: Treehouse of Horror Edition" Limited Edition Giclée #64/100 with Hand-Drawn Sketches by 10 Simpsons Directors (Fox, 2011). Springfield fans, take note -- here is one of the most desired pieces of Simpsons art to ever be released. It's part of a series called "The Director's Edition" of Fine Art Giclées. This one features the Couch Gag from the "Treehouse of Horror X" which aired on Halloween, 10/31/99. Around the print is a large white border where ten famous Simpsons directors did hand-drawn sketches of a Simpsons character. The piece has original, signed artwork from: David Silverman (directed 73 episodes) of Mr. Burns; Mike B. Anderson (339 episodes) of Bart with a ray gun; Chuck Sheetz (19 episodes) of Kang/Kodos; Matthew Faughnan (22 episodes) of Homer; Mark Kirkland (120 episodes) of Lisa; Chris Clements (30 episodes) of Lisa in a witch costume; Wes Archer (26 episodes) of Maggie; Steve Moore (79 episodes) of Professor Frink; Rob Oliver (30 episodes) of a naked Bart; and Bob Anderson (64 episodes) of Homer. That's a lot of original art from a lot of important Simpsons directors! The piece has a 20th Century Fox seal in its lower left corner, and it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The mat measures 26.5" x 21.5", with a matboard aperture of 21.5" x 16.5".
