Description
Peter Pan Tinker Bell Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, 1953). The adorable Tinker Bell makes a magical appearance in this lot, offering an enchanted color model cel from the unforgettable film Peter Pan. One of the most iconic Disney characters of all time, Tinker Bell was designed by one of Walt's "Nine Old Men", Disney Legend Marc Davis (1913 - 2000). Similar to her memorable appearance at the 11:28 mark of the movie, as she looks at herself in a mirror, this splendid color model cel was used during the movie's production to maintain consistency in how she's painted. Featured in magnificent full-figure, Tink is featured with her wings measuring a stunning image size of 3.5" x 7.75" and displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. Some wear can be seen on the linework. The top edge of the cel has some curling with a fold crease on the top left area.
