Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth Rei Pan Production Cel (Gainax, 1997). "I mustn't run away, I mustn't run away..." Presented is an astonishing original production cel featuring the mysterious Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth. Serving as a recap of the series and the first half of the conclusive The End of Evangelion film, Death & Rebirth compresses the series into its most essential scenes with new sequences of improved animation. Found at the 6:20 mark, as seen on Netflix, this incredible cel is one such example featuring a great image unique to the film. A stunning shot of Rei from the pivotal scene in which Shinji rises to the occasion to become an Eva pilot, this cel is a must-have for any Evangelion fan. The piece features the character at an enormous 14.5" x 8.25" on the 17.5" x 13.75" pan cel. The hand-painted cel is numbered C-5 at the top edge, and it shows minor handling and edge wear.
