Description
Alice in Wonderland Alice and Dinah Production/Color Model Cel Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1951). "Curiouser and curiouser." From the fantastic animated movie Alice in Wonderland, we have in this lot a pair of hand-painted and hand-inked production/color model cels featuring our protagonist and her cat, Dinah. Directed by Clyde Geronimi, Hamilton Luske, and Wilfred Jackson, this unforgettable Disney film is based on world-famous stories by Lewis Carroll. The surprised Dinah measures 4" x 4.75", comparable to what appears at the 3:03 mark of the movie, while the full-figure image of Alice measures 3.5" x 6". Both cels are trimmed and they have a clear protective layer on top, stapled to their top corners. The overall condition is Very Good with mild handling and edge wear from production.From the Ken O’Connor Archive.
