Description

Cinderella Footman, Stepsister, and Lady Tremaine Original Storyboard Group of 8 (Walt Disney, 1950). "Oh! Of all the stupid little idiots. I'll do it myself." Included in this lot are eight magical original storyboards of Lady Tremaine, the Footman, and one of Cinderella's wicked stepsisters from the beloved 1950 animated feature. Storyboards for the film were created by master Disney story artists Bill Peet, Ken Anderson, Ted Sears, Homer Brightman, and Joe Rinaldi and each of these pastel 5.5'' x 4'' storyboards were used to plan for the key scene where one of the stepsisters tries on the glass slipper. If you're looking through the film, the group were created for the scene starting at roughly 1:10:44 as Drizella shoves the Footman away and tries to force the shoe on herself. It almost works, too, before the fragile glass slipper goes flying and shatters, leading to Cinderella emerging with its other half. Two of the storyboards are marked for Scene 149 and are rare pieces of planning sure to be a cherished part of your collection. They are in Good condition with light edge and handling wear, pinholes, faint toning, minor pastel smudging.
