Sleeping Beauty Briar Rose Production Cel with Custom Background (Walt Disney, 1959). "Well, and what are you three dears up to?" Briar Rose (Princess Aurora) teasingly walks in on Flora, Fauna, and Merriweather as they plan her 16th birthday in this fantastic hand-inked and hand-painted original production cel from Sleeping Beauty. This large piece features Briar Rose at 7.25" tall on the 23.5" wide cel, and it can be seen at the 18:42 mark of the film. The piece is displayed on an enormous custom painted background rendered in gouache on board. Framed under Plexiglas with a mat window size of 29" x 11" and an overall frame size of 38.5" x 20.5". The frame is sold as-is. An enormous, rare piece featuring an excellent full-figure image of Briar Rose! Minor studio handling, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
