Description

Princess Mononoke Ashitaka and Yakul Production Cel (Studio Ghibli, 1997). "It's coming from Iron Town... Let's go!" Ashitaka rushes to the battle of Iron Town on his trusty steed Yakul. This is a stunning original production cel from Hayao Miyazaki's animated masterpiece Princess Mononoke. A great image of the heroic protagonist of the film, this piece can be seen at the 1:28:46 mark. The cel has a hand-painted image area of 9.25" x 7.75" on the 13.75" x 9" acetate. Numbered A38 in the upper right corner, the cel is displayed in a Plexiglas frame measuring 16" x 11.75" with a window of 13.75" x 9.75". The cel shows minor handling and edge wear, and it is displayed over a blank sheet of animation paper. The frame is sold as-is. Very Good condition.
